This course is ideal for anyone interested in beginning a career in swimming teaching. No previous teaching experience is required, as your tutor will guide and support you in developing the knowledge and skills needed to become a qualified swimming teacher with this one-step qualification
 
You need to be at least 16 years old on the first day of the course

What can I expect during my course? 
The course will be delivered through a mixture of classroom workshops both via zoom and in a physical classroom, practical poolside learning and assessment activities  Assessment activities include an online multiple-choice question paper, planning and delivering swimming lessons 
 
How will I be assessed? 
Your assessment takes place in two parts. Throughout the course, your tutor will set assessment tasks for you to complete. You will then complete an online multiple-choice question paper to demonstrate your understanding of the theoretical aspects of the course. 

What happens next?
Following successful completion of the SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification you will be eligible to work as a swimming teacher in either a paid or voluntary role.
