UB40 ft Ali Campbell is a seminal reggae pop band from Birmingham that has sold over 70 million records worldwide. Originally formed by Ali and his group of friends from diverse ethnic backgrounds in 1978, the band became known for socially aware lyrics and laid-back reggae rhythms. Their version of Neil Diamond's "Red Red Wine" became a global hit, topping charts in the UK and the US. They also found success with covers like “I Got You Babe” (featuring Chrissie Hynde) and “(I Can't Help) Falling in Love with You.
