On-site worm egg counts

On-site faecal egg count pop-ups are returning to Barnyard again in 2026.

🌱spring date- Tuesday 24th march


1️⃣ collect a sample of your horses dung- from atleast 3 different area of droppings. Samples around the size of a golfball are sufficient.
2️⃣ Pop sample in to a ziplock bag or similar, squeeze out the air from the bag (or fill to brim if a container) and label with horses name, owners name and contact details

3️⃣ Bring your sample to Barnyard along with card or cash. Please pay on handing over sample. You can drop samples into Barnyard the day prior if you can't attend on the tuesday.

4️⃣ Have a look around the store whilst samples are processed. If your horse does require treatment based on FEC result then you can speak to the lovely SQP qualified staff members at Barnyard to purchase there and then ✨
