Now it’s time to make a splash with Northwich Charity Swimathon 2026, which, for its 24th year, will be held at Brio Leisure Centre, Northwich.
This is on the 21st and 22nd March 2026, with a one-hour swim slot for each team between 16.00 and 19.00 hours.
This charity swimming event will be raising funds for St Luke’s Hospice and Tiny Steps and Rotary charities. All swimming teams are a maximum of six.
So if you are a club or a group of individuals or an individual anyone can enter.
You can enter one or more teams to represent your organisation/ club / family / group of friends at this charity event. With your effort and sponsorship, we will, together, be able to help those who are less fortunate within our community. If you are unable to raise a team to be part of, please email
c3BsYXNoIHwgbm9ydGh3aWNoc3dpbWF0aG9uICEgb3JnICEgdWs= and we will try to match you with an existing team, or create a “scratch” team for you to be a part of. We have mixed teams of adults and children so age is not a barrier.
The Swimathon is a fun swimming relay for all ages and abilities, where each team members swims a length in rotation, for 55 minutes. Most teams are group of friends, family members, work colleagues or club members helping to raise money for worthwhile local charities and having fun at the same time.
The Swimathon is not a race; rather it is an inclusive event, open to all who can confidently swim 25m without floats. The swimmers take it in turns, relay style, so the swimming is not too demanding on any one individual.
So far, over the previous 23 Northwich Swimathons, we have raised over £190,000 for charity.
To see the event is free, so come along and support.
Thank you to this year’s sponsors Butcher & Barlow LLP Solicitors and CRS Consultants Ltd, for your continued support.
