Winter Hike Leader Training

Enjoy hiking at Maybury State Park? Want to give back by sharing your passion? Curious about qualifications to lead a hike? Shadow and learn from an experience volunteer at our training session. We will review safety procedures and walk one of our routes (1 1/2 - 3 1/2 miles). Participating doesn't obligate you to lead a hike. Come to the training and enjoy a walk and opportunity to talk with an experienced volunteer to learn if it is a good fit for you. Meet at the Trailhead Building, Eight Mile Entrance.
