- **Event Description**: Join us for a walk through the park highlighting its past. On the property are remnants of both early farms and the Maybury Sanatorium, a tuberculosis sanatorium which was in operation until the late 1960s. The program starts at 10 AM with a short introduction and continues with an interpretive walk on paved and unpaved surfaces to the location of some of the former buildings. We will stop along the way to share pictures and discuss the operation of the sanitorium. Total walk distance is approximately 1.5 miles.  Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. This event will take place rain or shine.

This program is FREE, however a Recreation Passport is required for park entry. For further information on recreation passes, visit www.michigan.gov/recreationpassport.
