During this workshop, you'll learn how to dot paint on hand-casted Easter Eggs, tea-light holders and stones.All students will learn the beautiful art of dot painting and will take away the skills and techniques learned to dot paint on their own. Mandala Art is comprised of geometric designs and patterns that hold a great deal of symbolism in many ancient cultures. It's believed that Mandalas represent different aspects of the universe and are used as instruments of meditation and symbols of prayer.All Materials will be providedEach attendee will receive: receive a mandala art kit in a carrying case with 17 dotting tools, 1 paint palette, 1 paint brush and 1 stencil to take home with you.Acrylic paint will be provided for all attendees.Please note: Attendees should be ages 14 and up. By signing up for this class, you are ensuring that each attendee is at leat 14 years of age. She has a BSN in Apparel & Textiles from Oneonta State University, as well as an associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. On top of her creative studies, she also received a BSN in Nursing at Adelphi University and currently works as a registered nurse. Amanda is still very passionate about art. You can most likely find her participating in activities such as creating stained glass, crushed glass resin pour classes, crocheting, and much more. While working at a hospital during the pandemic, Amanda found herself needing to find something soothing. Years ago, she purchased mandala-making tools, so she picked them up again, and instantly fell in love with the art.
