Join us for a weekend of fun demonstrations, informational displays and kids activities!

"The Answer Nan!” - Saturday 11am-2pm
Nancy will be available for questions and will be demonstrating:
* How to repot and feed tomato seedlings she has started.
* How to tease apart onions plants and plant them in a Smart Pot fabric grow bag.
* Plant potatoes both in a Smart Pot and directly in the ground and how to hill them up.
* Pot up dahlia tubers and divide older tubers and replant them.

Xerces Society w/ Nancy Tipping - Saturday 11am-1pm
Xerces Society Ambassador Nancy Tipping will be here with fun family activities in honor of Earth Day! She will have Bee, Butterfly and Firefly coloring masks! Also fun matching games - match pollinators with their plant, matching caterpillars with adults, arranging in order the life stages of ladybugs, dragonflies and monarch butterflies.

Grow Organic Kids: All day, Sat and Sun 
Plant and take home a planted Cow Pot to nurture and grow! We will provide the cow pot, soil and seeds. Choose to plant beans or sunflowers!

Ask a Natureworker Informational Tables: All day, Sat and Sun
* Native plants in Succession of Bloom will be featured, along with free handouts.
* Ideas to nourish the Hummingbirds naturally in your garden this season with plants! 
* Learn to plant and grow food organically with us! 

Food Donation Station: All day, Sat and Sun
We welcome you to donate non-perishable foods and personal care items and receive a raffle ticket to enter and win a Natureworks Gift Card! The North Branford Food Pantry does important work all year long and is in need of canned fruit, cereal, oatmeal, jelly and hearty soups. Winner will be notified by Tuesday, April 28th
