Breanna Wheeler will lead us on a leisurely walk through Hauberg Woods, 600 Thye Parkway, to see what signs of spring we can see and hear - perhaps some early flowers, birds, and frogs. Participants will have the option to pick up garbage as we go. Following that, around 9:45 AM, anyone interested can stay to help with other spring stewardship activities which may include some buckthorn removal and/or planting preparation. We will conclude between 11 AM and noon. Hope to see you there!

Wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy footwear for working in the woods. Bring work gloves, loppers, shovels, and eye protection if you prefer/ have them, otherwise they will be provided. Bring insect repellent and sun protection, water, and any snacks you may need.
