Patrick Sullivan's deep connection with horses began when he was 26, marking a significant shift from his previous life. After earning his MBA in International Management, he left a successful career in collegiate soccer coaching to become a dedicated advocate and student for liberty horsemanship—a practice built entirely on communication and trust.
At the heart of Patrick’s work is the positive belief that Liberty transforms the relationship between horses and humans by always centering on the horse's best interests.
This philosophy is the cornerstone of the Equine Liberty Organization (ELO). ELO’s mission is to connect equestrians worldwide through the practice of Liberty Horsemanship, fostering a caring global community that supports both horses and people with top-level education and events.
To share this vision with those who need it most, Patrick founded the non-profit Gamilah Unbridled (501c3), providing liberty education to underprivileged youth and new beginnings for rescue horses.
His commitment to this unbridled relationship was powerfully demonstrated when he rode his Arabian horses, Gamilah and Haleem, over 2,500 miles bridleless and bareback across the country, raising significant awareness and funds for non-profits.
Patrick believes that liberty is the essential foundation of all horsemanship. He is dedicated to sharing the profound power of choice and connection, guiding others toward a deeper understanding of the equine spirit and the powerful partnership possible when trust leads the way.
