- **Event Description**: We are running another $500 CASH commander event!!
The entry fee will be $25, and there will be $500 in cash split to the top 4!!
1st place $300
2nd place $100
3rd and 4th $50 each
There will also be a booster pack to each player not in the top 4!
Starts at Noon, Whether you are coming with your best deck to try to win, or just coming to have a whole day full of Commander fun with your fun deck, it will be worth it!!
We will be running the event off in pods of 4, or as close to that as we can get evenly, There may be a few 3 or 5 man pods if the attendance numbers force it.
Each pod's winner will get 4 points, second will get 3 points, 3rd 2 points, and last 1 point.
Each round after the first players will be paired with other players with a similar point standing.
We will shoot for it being a 4 round event, and if needed due to tie, a final round after if multiple players are tied to determine 1st and 2nd.
If a player demonstrates an infinite combo that can result in a win, or ample damage to K*ll all players in one round, and no one at the table can interact to stop it, that player will simply be removed from the table and given the highest possible points at that time, so it the table still has all 4 players left, they will get 4 points, 3 players left, they get 3 points...etc. Then the remaining players will continue playing using the current game state to determine remaining places.
The full prize pool is based on a minimum of 20 players (which I think will be NO problem) On the off shot that less show up, the cash prize pool will be 50% of the entries for 1st, and 25% in store credit for 2nd.
We will use the standard commander banned list as presented by wizards of the coast.
