All are welcome to join Friends of Merri Creek to explore and help care for Merri Park by hand weeding or picking up litter. There is no expectation for how long you join us at this event - feel free to pop in for half an hour, if that's all you have.
Meet us at the entrance to the creekside fenced off reserve, about 200 metres south of Arthurton Rd.

No knowledge or experience required. Volunteers will be given a brief induction and guidance on weeding and/or litter pick-up activities and you can work according to your ability and capacity.
Children are welcome, but must be under the supervision of their parent/guardian at all times.
Tools and gloves will be provided, but please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants, bring water and dress appropriately for the weather. Long sleeves and loose clothing will also protect from mosquito bites.
We'll also bring tea, coffee and biscuits for morning tea!
