But this isn't just a casual catch-up; there is glory on the line! We will be running a fully-integrated tournament covering a range of different teen-screen-machines to crown the ultimate Westgarth Dadzone Champion. Amass your best scores across a selection of games to prove your superior hand-eye coordination; participate in the ruthless bracket-style P-v-P showdown, where many Dads enter and only one Dad leaves. At the end of all the button mashing, there will be only one legend, one champion, one hero of the luminous neon kingdom left to bathe in all their pixelated glory.To avoid any 'creative' scorekeeping we'll be tracking the whole thing with our very own Dadzone mobile app. Via a live leaderboard you'll be able to track your rise to glory or witness your "Game Over" screen approaching in real-time.To participate in the tournament, all you need to do is register (for free!) and then load up on some game credits on the night. Please register using the 'Reserve a spot' button by June 16 so that we've got an idea of numbers. Arrive at 7pm for a 7:30pm tournament start - make sure you arrive on time to improve your chances of snatching some extra bonus points along the journey. Food is available if Mr Burger sounds more appetising than a bland kid-friendly dinner at home. Celebrations, commiserations, beers ...and Thursday night footy to follow in the main bar after the event.As always, Dads and Such offers an outlet for the gentlemen of WPS to get together, but any Mums who fancy themselves as warriors of the digital world are welcome to join in the fun!Insert Coin.
