Nearvana Unplugged Shotkickers
After a debut performance at Culture Jam's "The Town 90s Edition" Festival in 2024, we've continued to share this show throughout 2025, honouring the original live performance, and Kurt's life and contribution to music. We play the show as close as possible to the 1993 show, in costume.
This is a theatrical recreation of the original, paying homage to the iconic moment Nirvana stepped out to play their MTV Unplugged show, leaving out some of their biggest hits, to include renditions of songs by Meat Puppets, Bowie, The Vaselines, and the game-changing version of Leadbelly's Where Did You Sleep Last night.
We play the set in the exact order.
