- **Event Description**: Moose & Caz launch their debut album, Bench Seat Memories, with a winter afternoon show at Wesley Anne, 250 High Street, Northcote, on Sunday 30 August at 3pm–6pm, with very special guests The Van Walker Trio.

Bench Seat Memories is a collection of songs shaped by memory, place, distance and the strange pull of the past. With tracks such as Copenhagen, Epping Line and Fitzroy Cowboy, the album moves through real and imagined places, from far-off cities to Melbourne streets and train lines. Built around warm melodies and featuring electric cello, the songs shift between sparse, melodic arrangements and darker, more atmospheric moments.

For this launch show, Moose & Caz will perform songs from the new album in an intimate setting, the way these songs were meant to be heard.

They will be joined by the Van Walker Trio, led by Tasmanian-born musician Van Walker, a prolific songwriter across folk, country and rock. Walker has built a strong reputation through his songwriting characterised by vivid stories, personal reflection and social observation. His work spans solo releases, production and co-writing, as well as bands and projects including The Livingstone Daisies, The Ferriters, Heartbrokers, Goatpiss Gasoline, The Swedish Magazines and the celebrated Vandemonian Lags theatre production.
