This gathering invites all to bring the light of awareness to this period of darkness after Samhain and its seasonal wisdom of deep introspection. We will dance with these gifts from the depths and bring a spark of life to the dark, in community and co-creation. Winter energy calls on deep listening with the intention to ground and allow old stories and patterns to decay with the seasonal cycle. As such, the energy of this gathering will be more simplified and immersive with music throughout the whole experience by our founder Elkemist. He will be accompanied by the talented Ali from Nectar of Sounds with live handpan and flute who will provide the ceremonial backdrop to the intention-setting ritual, and then we’ll have some slow-rising ambient music with some somatic movement as we warm up our Winter bodies to prepare for the double-wave dance journey. After we journey deeply into our dance, we’ll ground the experience with an extended sound bath by Nectar of Sounds and Elkemist and then close with some warming food and integration time as community.
