Cordrazine, the '90s Melbourne indie pop-rock enigma fronted by Hamish Cowan, are back with their first new music in 15 years and are set to release new EP You See In Me on Friday 5 December 2025.
The following Friday, 12 December 2025, they will launch the EP with special guest Alex Lloyd.
The band - which in 2022 celebrated 25 years since their brief initial go-round which centred on the iconic single "Crazy" and ARIA Top 10 debut album From Here to Wherever - paved the way towards You See In Me with recent single releases 'Hey Man' and 'Smalltown Boy', the latter a cover of the iconic Bronski Beat tune which inspired Cowan's vocal style all those years ago.
As well known to their fans for Hamish's reticence to sell himself to the music industry as for their initial popularity and incredible music, Cordrazine have found a kindred spirit in fellow '90s traveller and good friend Alex Lloyd, who will appear as a special guest on the night.
Best known for the huge hit "Amazing", which topped JJJ's Hottest 100 in 2001, the multi platinum, three time ARIA Male Artist of the year, Lloyd shares not only a mesmerising musicality with Cowan, he also shares a complex relationship with the industry more broadly, which was so sensitively and bravely explored on a recent episode of ABC-TV's Australian Story.
Unlike recent Cordrazine shows which have featured duo performances by Cowan and longtime collaborator Nick Batterham (of The Earthmen), You See In Me will be launched by the full Cordrazine band, in a very rare outing. With Alex in tow, this will be a show not to be missed.
