All India Radio celebrate their new album, The Unified Field, with a long awaited live performance, the first in 5 years and the first with original lineup in 20 years!
We're very excited to be playing with USER who craft a visceral blend of alternative electronic and shadowy postpunk, wrapped in immersive visuals and a brooding, theatrical energy. Their music is a twist on retro-futurist, think the twisted elegance of Lynchian dreamscapes colliding with the raw edge of classic alternative rock/pop.
For fans of dark glamour, immersive soundscapes, and postpunk with a pulse. USER isn't just a band, they're an experience.
We also have Glenn Bennie from the legendary Underground Lovers spinning some leftfield classics on the decks.
'The Unified Field' sees All India Radio getting back to a live band feel, much like their 2003 ARIA nominated self-titled album—the first one they recorded as a full group.
Embracing the experimental slowcore of their early years, All India Radio’s new album The Unified Field is loaded with reverb drenched tremolo guitars and hazy atmospheres, drawing inspiration from Labradford, underground legends Duster and the moody, atmospheric aesthetics of David Lynch's cinematic world.
