Date Night - Flameworking

Tired of staring at the same four walls with television and takeout every Friday night? Break the monotony with something completely different-learn to make glass beads with your special someone! In this 2-hour introductory workshop we'll cover the basics of glass beadmaking using a gas and oxygen-fueled torch and soft glass.

You'll learn how to use heat, gravity and tools to shape molten glass and create tiny works of art. No experience is necessary and all materials are included.

Water and a light snack are provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own snacks and adult beverages to enjoy at the end of the evening, after the torch work.

Make a dinner reservation at one of several nearby restaurants and head over after class!
