with Kevan Manwaring
A series of 4 linked creative writing workshops for adults drawing inspiration from the changing seasons and the beautiful gardens of Delapre Abbey. We’ll look at the way various writers have responded to the season and we’ll take our notebooks for a walk around the grounds. Short writing activities will generate starting points for poems, short stories and life-writing. No experience necessary.  

Each workshop takes place 1.30-4pm in the Coach House. Tea and coffee provided. Bring pen and paper.

Kevan Manwaring is an author and lecturer in creative writing for the Open University. His books include Northamptonshire Folk Tales by The History Press. He was born in Northampton and walked his dog around Delapré daily throughout his childhood.  www.kevanmanwaring.co.uk
