Northampton's 900-year-old Delapré Abbey, with its own walled gardens, formal plantings and arboretum, stands in 500 acres of parkland. This diverse location also offers woodland and a large lake.

With such a range of foraging habitats, this is a wonderful place to learn about edible plants and mushrooms that can be found in the UK.

And, as an added bonus, participants on this course will have access to the Abbey itself (subject to Covid-restrictions and opening).

Located on the southern edge of Northampton, this foraging course is suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike, and easy to reach from Kettering, Daventry, Banbury, Milton Keynes, Rugby, Bletchley, Banbury, Brackley, Coventry, Huntingdon and Buckingham.

On this foraging course, you will discover how to identify some commonly growing foods to forage for, how to avoid poisonous lookalikes, and hints on where to look.
