The Northampton Center for the Arts presents “Thinning the Veil” in the Barn Door Gallery. Thinning the Veil is a communal art project curated by Kai Marigold that transforms community-submitted personal grief stories into visual art, offering a space for connection and healing, and a supportive environment for the unspoken parts of mourning. In the Split Level Gallery, come see “Oasis,” the annual Northampton High School Student Art Exhibition and Senior Shows. Taught by art educators Louise Martindell and Zoe Sasson, this exhibition showcases a wide variety of work, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, and ceramics, by grade 9-12 students enrolled in art classes. Plus, the senior shows curated by students who have completed the Honors Art program. Live music by TiaLeigh Pianist and vocalist TiaLeigh explores a range of music, including Neo Soul and R&B, with a unique, creative interpretation. You might get a message or two after listening in! This IS the music that your soul needs and always has been looking for. Starting April 2nd on Thursdays from 8:30-11 pm, join your Host/DJ TiaLeigh for karaoke at Luthier's Co-Op. Talk Nothing Podcast Join Northampton Open Media in their lower-level office for the recording of Talk Nothing Podcast from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
