Thomas, known as “Thunder Tom”, was deeply connected to the East Allentown community. Although he did not attend college himself, he was a strong supporter of others pursuing education. Because of that, the foundation’s mission is simple but powerful: Help local students achieve opportunities that Thomas always believed in. What the Foundation Does: Provides annual scholarships to graduating seniors Focuses on students from: William Allen High School and Dieruff High School Supports students with college-related expenses and future goals.
