Celebrating his 30th anniversary as a performing artist in 2026, the internationally acclaimed Estonian slide guitarist Andres Roots "sounds like a trio" (Blues-Finland.com) whilst offering "a masterclass in fluid acoustic blues and roots music" (RnR Magazine) and "a hardcore reshaping of the blues" (Songlines). He has played everywhere from Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the original Black Sabbath manager Jim Simpson's Henry's Blueshouse in Birmingham, England - and performed for everybody from the inmates at Finland's notorious Mikkeli prison to the esteemed members of the German parliament at the Bundestag in Berlin. Roots' music has enjoyed airplay on five continents, topped the charts in Estonia and earned comparisons with the heyday of Mississippi Delta Blues, Leo Kottke, and Davy Graham.
