Fungi Foray with Dr Keith Thomas

Join our immersive specialist workshops designed to build confidence and practical skills in fungal identification, foraging, and conservation, led by Dr Keith Thomas. Participants will take part in a guided foray across the diverse habitats of the Thorp Perrow grounds, discovering and identifying a wide variety of fungi in their natural environments.

You’ll have the opportunity to collect and examine samples for further investigation, with an extensive selection available to study. Hands-on sessions allow you to observe key features and practise essential identification techniques, making these workshops ideal for anyone keen to deepen their knowledge of fungi in a real-world setting.
