📣The Indigenous Students Association at York (ISAY) has a MAJOR announcement to share with YORK U & the GTA 📣
After ISAY had previously hosted All Nations Powwow for 21 years! In 2023-24 after a long list of struggles occurring: external funding, lack of community support especially from York University, small ISAY teams, lack of recruitment we were stopped…
We are happy to announce that we will be reclaiming our 22nd ISAY All Nations Powwow on March 28th, 2026!! 📣🎊
In the last year, ISAY had the opportunity to be invited to join Indigenous Council, which gave a platform to this issue! Our Executives advocacy and leadership helped secure funding! and further commitments to ISAY’s All Nations Powwow! We hope to see many of our relatives there!
