Join Us for a Special Blessing of Animals at the Manger
Come and celebrate the Christmas spirit of humility and God's love for all creation! Inspired by the animals who were present at the birth of Jesus in the stable, we invite you to bring your beloved pets to our unique Nativity scene for a special blessing.
"The ox knows its owner and the ass its master's manger" (Isaiah 1:3)
What to Expect
Individual Blessings: Each pet will receive a personal blessing and a certificate of blessing.
Live Manger Scene: Experience our beautiful, realistic Nativity setup.
Joyful Chaos: We expect barks, meows, and squawks! This is a celebration of life, and all noise is welcome.
Community Connection: Meet fellow animal lovers as we celebrate all of God’s Creation.
Important Guidelines
Leashes/Cages Required: For the safety and comfort of all attendees (human and animal), please bring your pets in appropriate carriers, on leashes, or in tanks.
Alternative Option: If bringing your pet is difficult, feel free to bring a photograph of your beloved companion instead.
Offering: We will be collecting donations of pet food, toys, and blankets for our local animal shelter of Wilkes County,
