- **Event Description**: ARTRAGEOUS Youth Art Month Annual Exhibition held March 6th-28th, 2026 is a county wide celebration of student artwork held at Wilkes Art Gallery. We are excited to represent elementary, middle and high Wilkes County Schools, Millers Creek Christian School, homeschool and WAG Studio students. Students are chosen to be in the exhibition by their art teacher to represent their school. 

This exhibition features Kid's Choice Voting (kid's only) to acknowledge their favorite art and the student represented. These winners, one student from elementary, middle and high school art who receive the highest votes, will receive the Jackson Hamilton Award to receive a free week of Summer Art Camp at WAG.

Opening Night Celebration: March 6, 2026 from 5:30pm-7:30pm
featuring the music and sounds of Louie Pardue

Closing Night Celebration: March 27, 2026 from 5:30pm-7:30pm
featuring the music and fun of Larry Skipper and his students

This exhibition is state recognized and sponsored by the Leonard G. Herring Family Foundation, Mary Spears, the County of Wilkes, the Town of Wilkesboro, and the Town of North Wilkesboro.
