The North Webster Community Public Library invites the community to step back into history for a lively and engaging American Revolution Trivia Event happening at 10:30 am on Thursday, Jan. 8. This fun and informative morning will blend learning, friendly competition, and conversation as participants refresh their knowledge of the fight for independence.
The program will begin with select clips from “The American Revolution” documentary by Ken Burns, offering rich context and fresh perspective on the people and events that shaped the nation’s founding. Following the clips, attendees will put their knowledge to the test during an interactive trivia session, complete with prizes.
Trivia questions will go beyond the well-known battles and bold leaders to include the often-overlooked stories of women, Indigenous people, and everyday citizens whose lives and choices influenced the Revolution. Participants can expect a mix of surprising facts, “Who Said What?” moments, and creative prompts like identifying Revolutionary-era artifacts, all designed to spark discussion and teamwork.
Whether you are a history enthusiast or simply looking for a fun morning out, this event promises new insights, good company, and a deeper connection to the spirit of 1776.
