Clay4Beginners - a six week course. $200 everything incl. Monday nights starts 7 July 2025

Have you ever wanted to learn to create in clay? There's a good reason that experts recommend creativity for wellbeing, and working in clay for stress relief - it's just so relaxing and good for the soul!

Our this 6-week Clay4Beginners course will teach you all the basic skills of hand-built pottery while creating fun projects. Teacher Tanya will guide you in joining techniques, pinch pots, coil work, slab construction, sculpting, and more.

Once your pieces are dried and fired, you will move on to surface decoration - embossing, sgraffito, and applying colours and glazes.

Each 2-hour class is held in our comfortable air-conditioned studio. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and confidence to work on your own projects.

The course fee covers all 6 classes, your clay, colours and firing - nothing extra to pay - excellent value.
