DESCRIPTION

Discover this historic park on the shores of Burrard Inlet.

Located on an important harvesting, gathering and processing site for the Coast Salish peoples, as well as the site of a century-old logging mill camp, echoes of the past add a rich sense of history to this spectacular foreshore park with ocean and mountain views.

Whether you’re visiting for an early morning stroll, an afternoon picnic with your family or to watch the sun set over Burrard Inlet—Barnet Marine Park always offers a welcome change of scenery.

We will be spending time in the off-leash area and walking along one of their beautiful on-leash scenic trails. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

For August 2026, due to scheduling, we will have three Meets in a row. The above is the first, the second is the Shetland Sheepdog Club's Annual Roundup, and the third is optional--Dog Dayz at Art's Nursery. We hope for good turnouts for all of them!
