Snowshoes, Skis, and S’Mores
This is the first ever group snowshoe/ cross country ski event at the Jay Community Recreational Centre trail system!

We will be doing just under a 2 mile loop; you can be competitive and move as quickly as you can or move at a very casual pace. Also, if you want to just come hang out in our amazing trail system and socialize instead of snow shoeing or skiing you are
welcome to do that as well. You are encouraged to bring families and pull kids in sleds as well as bring dogs on Leash (who are well behaved).

S’mores will be provided in the field within the trail system; Bring your own warm beverages.

When: Sunday, February 15th , 2026 at 12:00 PM

Where: Jay Community Recreational Centre trail system; Cross Road, Jay, VT 05859

This event will raise money for the Jay Community Recreational Centre; we want to add more fun aspects to the trail system, this event will help raise money for that. This trail system is a key community feature of the NEK and we want to keep it thriving/ evolving/ well maintained!

Donations will be voluntary: we will have a Jar for donations at the event.
