( Gluten-free & Vege options available) 2-4 pm Somatic Exercises Sessions with Barbara for nervous system regulation (Qi Gong focus) Somatic exercises for regulating your nervous system. This workshop is with Barbara a registered nurse that has also worked with the Alley Center for many years. We all have experienced the fight, flight or freeze response our bodies are capable of when under threat. This healthy response operates without our conscious participation and contributes to our survival. These days, however, due to nearly constant stress from all kinds of sources, this system is almost continuously activated and can result in physical illness, burnout and more.
