Many of you know Meg Lane as the Varsity Volleyball coach at Kearsarge Regional High School. She continues to lead, mentor, and be a constant presence for our student-athletes. Meg has given so much of herself to this community, and now she and her family need our support.

Meg was recently diagnosed with stage 4 (metastatic) colon cancer at the age of 42. As she begins her treatment journey, she and her husband, Josh, are facing the unimaginable challenge of navigating this diagnosis while continuing to care for their five children, ages 12, 14, 16, 17, and 22.

What is remarkable, and deeply reflective of who Meg is, is that despite this life-changing news, she plans to continue coaching and supporting our student-athletes through the volleyball program. Her unselfishness has already made a profound impact on our school, and in this moment, she continues to model exactly what it means to be part of the Kearsarge family: to care deeply, to commit fully, and to compete, not just in sport, but in life. Meg is fighting not only for herself, but for her family and for this community she has given so much to.

I spoke to Meg last week about this event and the first thing that she mentioned was that moving the family to the Kearsarge Area was the best decision they ever made.  They were made to feel at home right away and day in, and day out, they are blown away at how nice everyone is and how everyone has each others backs.  

Its time to RALLY around them, so lets all DIG deep and SET the tone by BUMPING this event on our pages.  No doubt we are going to ACE this.   

Food concessions and a raffle will also be onsite.
