The Secretary and Treasurer may be a combined position. These roles form the Governance Committee and provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the club. ## Portfolio Opportunities Not everyone wants to join a committee — and that's okay. We're looking for members who would like to contribute in an area they're passionate about through one of our club portfolios. You might be interested in helping with: ? **Player Development** Supporting coaching, player pathways, and development opportunities. ? **Fundraising & Sponsorship** Helping secure funding, sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives. ? **Marketing & Promotions** Promoting the club and celebrating our people and achievements. ? **Social Media & Website** Creating content, sharing stories, and keeping our online presence up to date. ? **Events & Club Culture** Helping organise club events, prizegivings, tournaments, and social activities. ? **Equipment & Uniforms** Supporting the management of club gear, uniforms, and equipment. ? **General Club Support** Providing assistance where needed and contributing ideas to help the club grow. ## How It Works * Portfolio holders lead an area of interest and help drive initiatives within that space. * You can recruit friends, parents, players, or supporters to assist. * Governance meetings are designed to be practical and efficient, typically lasting only **30–45 minutes per month** during the season. * Portfolio holders can attend meetings when relevant and provide updates on their area. * No previous committee experience is required — enthusiasm and a willingness to help are what matter most.
