About the event

Water Safety Saturday a collaborative event to launch RLSS Drowning Prevention Week

On Saturday 14th June, our team are joining up with North Sea Volunteer Lifeguards (NSVL) and the RNLI Tyne and Wear Lifeguards to host a water safety event at the South end of Tynemouth Longsands beach.

The event is being hosted to mark the start of RLSS's annual Drowning Prevention Week campaign.

Come and meet the teams, learn about water safety at the coast and have a go with some of the rescue kit.

All are welcome!
