# Event Details - **Event Name**: Fused Glass - Spring Hangings - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 21 Mar, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sat, 21 Mar, 2026 at 11:30 am - **Event Description**: Who is this course for? Level 1 and above - This 1.5 hour class is suitable for all levels. What does the course cover? During our Spring themed class, Karen will teach you the technique of creating Decorative Glass using specialist glass, creating your own designs in preparation for it to be fired in our kiln. Beginning by deciding on your own design you will be guided through the process of creating your design using glass. Your piece will then be fired in our kiln and ready for collection the following week. This class is perfect for beginners and also for those who have already completed a Frit/fusing class and would like to explore further. What is included in the fee? Your fee includes tuition by Karen, the use of tools and equipment and all materials. Each student can make up to two pieces using clear glass as the base and adding colours of your choice. Please note that the colours available will be 'spring' themed. (Glass supplied 20x20) Please come with ideas! Images on your phone or printed in preparation will help you on the day and Karen will guide you on how to create these in glass. There is a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure individual attention. Please note your pieces are taken away to be fired and will be ready for collection within 2 weeks. Glass colours and texture change during the firing process, our tutor will guide you during your class on the potential results but we cannot guarantee the finish and/or your expectation of the final result. Accessibilty: We will try to make our classes accessible to all however if you have any disabilities or physical limitations of any kind we ask that you discuss it with us before booking What do I need to bring? Please wear sturdy and fully enclosed footwear (no open toes or gaping sides) and old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. Please ensure long hair is tied back.
