- **Event Description**: We’re thrilled to once again host the annual Milt Schumacher Memorial 5K Reservoir Walk/Run event supporting the Trinity Food Pantry. In 2025, the event was re-christened in honor of a beloved parish member who loved nature, walking, and running.

This annual tradition is one of the few opportunities for the public to access the reservoir property and see this beautiful treasure close-up. The Providence Water Supply Board generously grants us special access for the event.

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026
Location: Trinity Episcopal Church, 249 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, RI

- Check-In opens at 8:30 am: Pick up your t-shirt and sign a waiver to walk on the Providence Water Supply Board property. 

- Drop off a non-perishable food items to fill the Food Pantry shelves.
    Items currently needed:   Cereal, Soups (all varieties), Pasta, Tomato Sauce, Canned Vegetables, Canned Beans (baked, kidney, chickpeas), Peanut Butter, Pancake Mix, Syrup, Coffee, Tea, Jelly, and Canned Fruit.

- The walk begins promptly at 10 am.

Following the event, participants are invited into our church hall for refreshments, hot soup, fresh bread, and delicious sweets.
