- **Event Description**: Let's spread some holiday spirit, help us kick off the holiday season right at the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony! Complimentary hot chocolate, donated by the North Royalton Lions Club, and free donuts, donated by the Giant Eagle of North Royalton, will be served on the City Green beginning at 4 p.m. New feature alert: Ice Artistry will be doing a one-hour ice sculpture demo from 4-5 p.m., and Spring Mist Farms will have a live reindeer display from 4-6 p.m.! At 5 p.m. a brief parade, which includes the North Royalton Marching Band Drumline and Band Front, will step off from the North Royalton Senior Center at Royal View, 13220 Ridge Road, and make its way to the City Green, where the Mayor and Santa will hit the switch to light up the City Green decorations! Then, Santa will greet visitors at his house on the Green, where he listens to children's wish lists and provides each with a chocolate bar and toy! A big thank you to event sponsor, Malley's Chocolates of North Royalton, for helping provide the free chocolate for Santa's visitors again this year! And thank you to event sponsor, MC4 CPA-Carlin Culbertson! Thank you Royal Victorian Garden Center for adding a little touch of holiday magic! Stick around to hear the North Royalton High School Choir perform a few Christmas carols at the gazebo, followed by a drumline performance!
