Honcho and Chee from HONCHO The Band will be performing an acoustic unplugged set on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Platinum Music Complex NRH in North Richland Hills, TX for Rocking Cancer’s Ass: Save Duane 2.0 Benefit Concert.

This benefit is for Duane Tyree, the owner of Platinum Music Complex NRH, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his liver. That is a brutal sentence to even type, but Duane is still fighting, still pushing forward, and still pouring his heart into the music community that so many of us call home.

So now it’s our turn to show up for him.

This event will feature a killer lineup of musicians and bands, including both full band performances and unplugged acoustic sets, all coming together for one reason: to help raise money for Duane’s medical bills, treatment costs, and the fight ahead.

If you’re anywhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, please come join us. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your music people. Bring that one friend who “doesn’t usually go out on Sundays” and tell them to quit being weird because this one actually matters.
