This pilot workshop is designed to help SolidWorks users work faster, cleaner, and with more confidence. You’ll learn practical techniques you can use immediately, followed by a hands-on troubleshooting clinic where we solve the real problems you face in your models.

It’s a small, focused group of five people — ideal for personalised help and deeper learning.

• Smart modelling techniques
• Customising the interface for speed
• Keyboard shortcuts + mouse gestures
• Working with configurations
• Clean exploded views (advanced)
• Isolate, display states, model clean-up
• Drafting shortcuts that save hours

Templates, Properties & Automation

• Creating part and drawing templates
• Linking templates to custom properties
• Automating title blocks
• Managing properties in assemblies
• Intro to macros
• Useful example macros you can use right away

Break

Troubleshooting Clinic
Bring your own project files.
We’ll fix:

• Errors and rebuild issues
• Sketch and feature problems
• Assembly performance issues
• Sheet metal issues
• Drawing formatting frustrations
• Any specific SolidWorks challenge you’re stuck on

This part is essentially one-on-one consulting within a group environment.

• Beginners who want to jump ahead quickly
• Experienced designers who want to sharpen their workflow
• Engineers working on hardware, product design, prototypes, or manufacturing
• Startups building their first physical product

The workshop is run by Hardik Trivedi, a SolidWorks Champion and one of Australia’s most experienced SolidWorks designers. Hardik has spent years helping drafters and engineers from the construction and manufacturing sectors improve their modelling workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and solve the complex roadblocks that slow projects down.
