You'll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing—from centering clay to shaping your first bowl or mug—in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Expect a few wobbles, plenty of laughs, and the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands. No experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and be ready to get a little muddy! You will get 2 pieces of clay One will be cetered for you and the second you will center on your own.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothes and shoes that can handle a little clay!

BRING A TOWEL FOR YOUR LAP AND AN APRON. IT IS MESSY. YOU WILL BE COVERED IN CLAY AND WATER. WE DO NOT PROVIDE APRONS AND TOWELS.

CLASS TIME IS APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES. 

REMINDER: This is a messy clay class, old/artists clothes are encouraged. APRONS ARE NOT PROVIDED- BRING A TOWEL FOR YOUR LAP. 

Your piece will be fired and glazed and ready for pick up roughly 2-3 weeks after class, The phone number you’ve used to sign up with will be sent a TEXT once they are ready for pick up.

All pieces are held for 30 days after bisque firing - NO EXCEPTIONS. Want to keep more than one pot? Cost is $15 per pot.

NO REFUNDS OR RESCHEDULING OF CLASSES due to limited class size and availability. This class is open to ages 16+ and adults.
