What’s Happening? Volunteers will help plant native Sea Oats one of the most effective natural defenses against coastal erosion and storm surge. No experience needed — just a willingness to help and have fun outdoors!

This hands-on, feel good day is all about strengthening Atlantic Beach’s natural dune system to fight erosion while celebrating and protecting the rich cultural legacy of Atlantic Beach. By blending environmental restoration with cultural preservation, STARD’sinitiative plants more than sea oats — it plants awareness, pride, and community power.
