Bring your lunch to the library and enjoy a great session on gardening basics with Geoff Schortgen from Purdue Extension. He will focus on garden planning, planting, seed care, watering and other maintenance topics. There will be a wealth of information to help you get your garden off to the best possible start, including tips on soil health and composting to increase garden yield. 

Participants will also receive helpful handouts to take home as well as time to ask questions and share their own gardening successes and failures.
