The annual 2025 LSC MT MEE 101 is on again!
This year marks our 13th edition, rolling out on Sunday 28th December 2025.
We’ll be starting from our North Lakes shop at 6:00am, with a second meetup at Old Petrie Town at 6:25am for anyone coming in from that direction.
Last year was an awesome day out — big turnout, plenty of sunshine, and even some tailwinds.
Let’s hope we get a repeat of that!

This year also marks Emma’s first LSC 101 as the new owner, and what better way to introduce her to what the Brisbane cycling community is all about:
big groups, friendly riders, plenty of laughs, and a classic end-of-year roll over Mt Mee.
What is the MT MEE 101?
A post-Christmas ride where:
You burn off everything you demolished the week before
You regroup with mates and meet new riders
You chat, spin, suffer a little, enjoy a lot
You roll over one of the best climbs in the region
It’s no fuss, no ego — just ride it at your pace, form a group that suits your ability, and enjoy the morning.
With a decent bunch, it’s actually a pretty “easy” 100km.

The Climb – Bragging Rights Time
Mt Mee from the creek bridge to Townsend Road: 7.5km of honest work… and the perfect place to test the legs before the bakery.
If you’ve checked the Strava leaderboard lately, you’ll know one thing for sure:
Elliot’s KOM isn’t going anywhere.
His 15:52 has stood since 2020 — and considering the pro-level form he’s shown racing in Japan this season… let’s just say it’s safe for another year.
The rest of the list hasn’t budged much either. In fact, only one rider managed to crack the top 15 in all of 2025.
So if you’re feeling good, this might be your chance to sneak onto the board with a solid leadout… or at least get closer than last year.

Route, Stops & Flow
We’ll regroup at Townsend Rd, the Girls will be there again to refill bidons, then roll across the top until Wamuran Bakery before the final 30km home.
As always, after leaving Wamuran we’ll head via the 13km rail trail to Caboolture — smoother, faster, safer.
(A map will be posted.)
If you're chasing the Strava Festive 500, this fits perfectly as a 100km day.

A call will be made at 4:00am if the forecast looks bad.
