Professional shuckers will show you that with a little know how (and some safety precautions), you too can open oysters!Eating with the Ecosystem is genrously providing shucking knives and protective gloves for you while you learn from shucking pros. The lesson is about 10 minutes, then you are given 15 minutes to try your hand at shucking for yourself. Bonus? You get to eat all you shucked! (But don't worry, if you are struggling with shucking, you'll still get to eat oysters)Registration is not required but it helps us know how many people to expect! This community event is hosted by Rhode Island Oyster Week, an initiative of the Ocean State Aquaculture Association. Sponsored by RI Commerce
