🌿 Woods on Wheels – A Family-Friendly Outdoor Learning Adventure! 🌿

Bring the whole family to the Kankakee Fish and Wildlife Area for Woods on Wheels, a fun and educational forestry experience designed for students in grades K–12 — and enjoyable for all ages! Explore interactive exhibits, play engaging games, and discover the exciting world of forestry together. Students can learn about future career opportunities while parents have the chance to connect with professionals and get their questions answered.

Make a day of it while you’re there! Drive the scenic routes, hike the trails, or enjoy a relaxing nature walk through areas that remain largely untouched from what was once known as the “Everglades of the North.” It’s the perfect opportunity to unplug, explore the outdoors, and create lasting family memories.
