We invite teens from the Mahoning Valley to the August 5th High School Collective Bargaining Program for a fun, informative day long, hands-on experience in labor negotiations with regional labor leaders who have learned how to fight for safe and equitable workplaces in NE Ohio.
Through real-world role play and student-driven negotiation, teens explore labor conflicts, practice critical thinking, and discover their power to shape the future of work.
This day long program offers breakfast and lunch as well as a $75 stipend to the first 30 students who enroll and attend.
The day program will be at the UAW 1112 hall (11471 Reuther Dr
Warren, Ohio 44481) and is part of the NE Ohio Workers Center. We are exploring the possibility of a carpool situation from the Youngstown area, so please let us know if your teen is coming from the Youngstown area and you would need a carpool/ride (probably from the Main Library on Wick Ave).
