Lutruwita Activist and Mutual Aid collective are hosting a fundraising event from 1pm – 10pm on 31/05, at Kickstart Arts. This is an all-ages inclusive event. We will have bands, dancing, art auction, food, merch, crafts and more to be announced!

We are hoping to open a place this year that allows us to continue to strengthen the activist heritage in lutruwita/Tasmania. Our vision is a hybrid community activism centre and mutual aid hub, open to anyone who needs a space to try and transform their island home for the better.
Current members helping create this space come from a range of groups, including but not limited to: GRANT, TPAN, Short of a Sheet, Resistance, MACK

ACCESSIBILTY INFORMATION:
There will be inside and outside areas available. No stairs. The toilets are accessible and an extra portable toilet will be brought in. We will provide masks and hand sanitiser. We encourage people to wear masks and practice social distancing. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.

The L.A.M.A. Collective acknowledges Palawa as the original owners of Lutruwita/Tasmania. This event, and future social centre, is held in Nipaluna - the country in and around Hobart, the country of the Muwinina people. L.A.M.A. Collective pays its’ ongoing respect to the current custodians, ancestors and warriors in Lutruwita. We have a commitment to decolonisation and endeavour to uplift and uphold First Nations peoples, their ways of living and their customs on the island. Always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
