About the event

Hobart Tango Encuentro, 2025
A celebration of Argentine Tango, bringing together social dancers from across Australia and beyond. With guest interstate DJs playing music from the Golden Age of Tango.

Four Milongas: Friday Welcome Milonga (31st Oct) with DJ Jamie Gifford 7.00 - 11.30pm
Saturday Gala Milonga (1st Nov.) with DJ Fabian Conca. 7.00 - 11.30pm
Gala night being a very special occasion highlighted by an exhibition by Karina and Fabian Conca with special guest Argentinian singer, Marcelo Svirsky.
Sunday Matinee Milonga (2nd Nov.) with DJ Shan Deng 1.00 - 4.00pm
Sunday Twilight Milonga (2nd Nov.) with DJ Mark Stojani. 7.00 - 11.30pm.
